My Mail IT - new cloud version
Hi all,
The "cloud version" of My Mail IT by Mike from Maine and Brett Rutecky is due to be launched today.

I have found out that although it will be cloud based software that all the emails will be sent by using each customer's own hosting platform, wherever your hosting actually is.

With many folks being on shared hosting plans, will this not cause an issue with the hosting providers themselves for people sending out lots of email from those accounts ?

I have heard reports of hosting companies not favouring the practice of sending out lots of email in this way.

What do you think ?

V. :)

Cloud based software has no meaning if it requires using your own SMTP servers. Most hosting companies limit to sending about 500 emails spread over an entire day. Some autoresponders are already shared in bbhf . So, I wonder how mailIT can be better than that?

That's what I thought when I heard about using own hostings SMTP. Originally I thought My Mail It product was a challenger to the major autoresponder players, but from what I can see it's nothing like it.

I use Mailgun - great for this sort of thing.
