Err no. I know people who did very well in the past from MLM and now they are all depressed because of the people they worked with, Im not saying all mlm is bad but they teach you to think of everyone as prospects and you have to keep buying their overpriced products to stay in the downline. If you really like locking people in a room to brainwash them go for it but there are other things to do in life.

This is 21st century. Amway is 20th century. The business model is good if you start a mlm company - not at all good if you're a minion (distributor).

If you have time, money and friends to throw away - and if you insist on learning from your own stupidity - go for it. You may learn some lessons which you seem to need - based on your question.

RE:
If I was to choose an established MLM company, Amway would probably be at the top of the list. I will try to expand on my reasoning with the following:

PRO's
1. They have withstood the test of time and going on 55 years in business!
2. Many of their products are well established with decent consumer sentiment.
3. There are people entering into it now that within in a matter of a couple of years are consistent 6 and 7 figure earners.
4. The business model been proven to be one of the most longstanding in the MLM industry.
5. They have withstood litigation from both the Federal Government and probably every state in the U.S. at what time or another, and many foreign countries.
6. People will die and others will become adults, its a great way to ease into a part-time then to full-time income with potential for lifetime residual earnings.

CON's
1. It is still a hard sell, many people hear Amway and can instantly be turned off - leery of the "Oh no, here it comes, that sales pitch again."
2. They still require investment in products and training some newbies many not be prepared for. HINT: Don't buy in to excess inventory unless you already have an established downline and are making money.
3. The bulk of their growth is overseas and inf foreign, emerging markets. So unless you're outside the U.S. success may be a little harder to come by.
4. You have to change your mindset, not to buy commercially available products but rather Amway's such as toothpaste, vitamins, laundry detergent, household cleaners, food supplements, etc. and then your direct consumers and downline. Not always easy.

Just remember, things worthwhile come with hard work and effort. This is enterprise is one of those. But the potential is there. Most of the hard work would be in the beginning - it would be down the road with a solid downline and a customer base can the residual earnings truly set you on a path to success and financial freedom.

Best of luck and success!

RE:
Programs like Amway and all other MLM programs are all about LEADS you have to create a lead funnel system to bring your prospects
into them, then teach them about the product and compensation plan and then maybe they will join. Bottom line its all a numbers game.
The more traffic you drive to your leads funnel system with an email auto-responder series attached to keep educating them on your MLM ,the more chances you have to convert the prospect, who is interested in your MLM.

Try this Free Lead System funnel for life, that already set for you to get your prospects into the funnel.
Just click my signature link to see it in action..

If this been helpful to you REP's would be appreciated..Thanks...

RE:
JOINING a MLM company will NOT make you rich. MLM is only a good deal if you start/own the company. Otherwise, it sucks.

You can make money --- but there are many easier and less stressful ways to get really rich.
Start your own (information) business.

RE:
Amways position has changed a lot. Also, I ended up about 15k in the hole after 3 years in Amway, but you are going to have to talk to everyone and put aside about 40 hours per week to build your business. After 5 years you'll be set.

Good luck.
