Got an email notification 2 days ago:

Hopefully they'll enable invitations from site members to other users. I lost the email acc't my demonoid account was registered to.

Yep it's back and my old user, password works fine with the new site.

As HairyNed pointed out there is no invite codes yet but I will also post them here if and when they are received.
