There are hundreds of combinations of words you can use to find more sites . One of the simplest ways is to find identical template footprint.

Identical Words - Step 1:

Do a basic search for the script you want to find. I did a search for Article Friendly directories and came up with the following sites. If you notice, these sites are very similar in their layout. This is because all of them are using the same Article Friendly script.





Identical Words - Step 2:

Find identical words that appear in all/most of the sites. Lets take a look at their menu.




We chose the following words as highlighted - "submit articles", "submission guidelines" and "top articles".



Identical Words - Step 3:

Enter it into the search engine http://www.google.com/search?q="submit+articles"+"top+articles"+"submission+guidelines"

You will find results that are much more refined as compared to using the basic footprint "Powered by xxxx".

Identical Urls - Step 1

Another way is to find identical urls. For example:

If you hover your cursor over the link "submission guidelines", you will find that all of them have the same url "submitguide.php"




Identical Urls - Step 2:

Enter it into the search engine with "submitguide.php" or inurl:submitguide.php
http://www.google.com/search?q="submitguide.php"
http://www.google.com/search?q=inurl:submitguide.php

Here you can use your creativity to come up with your own combination of footprints.
