How Profitable Are Adult Video Websites?
Over the past few years I've acquired quite a large collection of Adult videos using torrents. Roughly about 500+ full length DVDs. I had the idea of starting a website, where people pay a monthly fee and have full access to viewing and/or downloading videos from the site. I'm pretty sure this is illegal if you didn't purchase the video but I'm not 100% sure. I'm considering using a foreign web hosting company and private proxies to run the website. SEO would be challenging, since it would be almost impossible to rank a website for the keywords "adult video download", or anything like that. Although, I'm sure I can find niches with less competition. Well, let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

RE: Creating an Adult Video Website
I wouldn't risk it, bro. While in theory this will work, the chances are overwhelmingly likely that these companies will sue your ass off until you are penniless and homeless. Remember, this will definitely leave a papertrail back to you no matter how you conceal it, and these porn companies all have top notch lawyers ready to defend their copyrighted content.

RE: Creating an Adult Video Website
You have to remember the guys making, marketing and distributing these products fight this battle everyday globally, they know every trick on closing down content thieves and have the money and legal people to do it.

I'd keep well clear - there are many other adult niches to get in that are legit, but it's a fight to get in the market, as there is much competition already
