There is nothing wrong or malicious with this program (see VT Scan results in OP). Patches and key gens and cracks are coded in a way to circumvent the whole licensing/registration process and in doing so, will at times trigger false positives in some AV programs. I would suggest installing it on something like Sandboxie or VMWare to test it and put your mind at ease. I installed it (on my main computer) and have been having blast playing around with it, learning the ins and outs and incredible features it offers. Please do not download this if you feel in the least way uncomfortable mate. Cheers! Cool

Not sure why you got that error message mate, one possibility that comes to mind is that it could be your AV trying to block you from using the patch (in which case I recommend disabling your AV to complete the installation and then re-activating your AV afterwards) although again, not sure why the error message.

That being said, here's what I did and was successful -
  1. Copy and paste the patch into the install directory (i.e. C:Program Files ->Telestream ->Wirecast) or wherever you chose to install it.
  2. Run the patch and click the patch button. In a few moments it will show a message saying that it has been patched successfully.
  3. Close the window, start Wirecast and enjoy.
DO NOT UPGRADE to a newer version if prompted. Once the application has opened you can go to the Help tab and find several ways to use Wirecast. Hope this helps.
