Here is my review:
I am always interested in what promoters come up with to "sell" the public on a new idea for weight loss. Everyone really KNOWS what it takes for weight loss, but always are curious about some "magic bullet" claims to make the job easier. (PERSONAL ASIDE: This is one reason why you can make a humongous amount of money promoting weight-loss products, literally Billions are spent yearly on them....) This product is different from many offerings because he author presents a pretty reasonable 7 day menu plan (breakfast, lunch and dinner complete with recipes for each meal) that doesn't ally itself with the low carb, low calorie, low fat, Paleo, overt fasting, etc. camps. It is primarily based on the need to keep your body temperature up, mainly accomplished by eating foods that enhance your metabolism. Foods like-- salmon, eggs, bacon, potatoes (yes, really!), butter, breakfast sandwiches with real bread, eggs and ham and cheese-- hash browns with sausage and eggs and bread and cheese -- more fish, nuts, pork tenderloins, oven Fried Chicken, steak.... And the quantities they suggest to make boggle my imagination. This is their premise:
They are saying if you eat the meals of the foods I mentioned above, supposedly in the order they suggest for a month-- you will lose weight regardless of the quantity. And the exercising they are talking about is like 15 to 30 minutes a week. Daring, to be sure. Anyone want to try it? My best friends loss is proof to me at least that eating fat does help you lose weight - real butter, avacado and coconut oil has with minimal bodyweight only exercise got him from 275lbs to 238lbs. it was weird seeing a person eat a spoonful of coconut oil and drink real butter in their organic coffee yuk!!! but to this day the seem to be melting off fat..its been like 2 months
