I copied these instructions exactly to the letter, on both a vps and a pc, both using windows 7

both would not allow me to do this (they would not give me the option

"use notepad and run it as administrator. (find notepad, right click on it, click run as administrator)"


and
"Double click on your host file"

there was no host file on either of the machines.

do you know how to resolve this ? (how to find the host file - to change it in accordance with the instructions)

@ezonhold Your PM is full. I cant send you a message bro. But heres the answer to your question on how to edit your host file.

use notepad and run it as administrator. (find notepad, right click on it, click run as administrator)
click file>open
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
bottom right click the drop down and select "all files" NOT "Text Documents"
Double click on your host file
Insert the lines given in the instructions at the bottom and save

but i dont think the instructions about the host file are very clear.

> save
