I counted up to 10 autoloaded pages and only God knows if there was any bad stuff in there. Ultimately I cancelled the download because it really looked too suspicious...and I'm also going to do a virus and malware scan on my PC right away - That's how bad it was. |

I'm never going to download it - ever.(08-28-2013 05:29 AM)Zajko Wrote: How do you people get these books from Amazon?Think again my friend...think again! Mirrorcreator is a KNOWN virus distributing site packed with trojans and assorted malware. In fact, the virii distributed by mirrorcreator are SO bad that you'll have to format your whole hard drive and any external drives or media devices you've ever connected to it. You should also go to the emergency room for prompt, lifesaving treatment if you have even seen the name "mirrorcreator" - oops, sorry :) As for the file itself, VirusTotal says it's clean, but not very many people realize that VT itself is an NSA front which "tags" every single file scanned and crossreferences every user who EVER visits a given page. It's only new, but once you get 15 tags cross referenced to your PC or device, they flag you for DMCA violations, so expect your ISP to deny you service due to abuse. See? I can lie too. |
