I provide all the info you need to get this and get it quickly. So get what you can while you can ... and here is the absolutely fastest way to do it. Use the online Amazon S3 Ripper Tool and the Bucket Name. Then use a download accelerator like JDownloader2 or Internet Download Manager. LAYNA'S TIP #2: I also suggest you download only what you have an interest in (based on the file names) and not go gung-ho with a share this size. It puts unnecessary burden on her servers and that is what triggers a warning and gets the stuff taken down or moved. So if you're into cats and tigers but don't care for mandalas, please, forego downloading those and anything else you have no need for or interest in. @tinytim: Thank you for sharing that. Yes, our fellow member sIMplified shared this tool and it's great! I use it a lot. And just like the one I have used before, when I clicked the link you provided, it goes to a 404 error page but ... the page loads perfectly if you remove the /404 from the end of the link and try again.
NOTE: Maybe I'm the only one experiencing that little glitch because my computer has been throwing temper tantrums lately; but that little trick works for me, so I thought I'd share it. Thanks again, for giving me a new WP and S3 site ripper alternative link. @hollie berries: Thank you so much for the kind post and your reps. I appreciate it. @All: Most of you here are familiar with this tool and know how to use it. For those that need a little help, I'll add this advice ... HOW TO USE THE RESULTS YOU GET FROM THE WP AND S3 RIPPER TOOL: The site ripper has been updated because the links that come back don't look the way they used to. Since things have changed, here is how to help identify the download links; if there are any: You will see two links: one labeled Page Title and one named Page Link that goes to the actual page. Always click the one that goes to the actual page to see if there is anything to download there. One way I've learned to identify the download links (again, if there are any) is to look for certain "clues" within the link name; such as: * the word: access * the short-code for download: dl * the short-code for thank you: ty * ... or a string of alpha-numeric code on the end of a URL link that most likely goes to a download page. This code may make sense or seem like gibberish ... usually, a link ending in something like: /273jhsodxu will lead to a download or content page. DON'T BE SURPRISED IS YOU DON'T FIND DOWNLOAD LINKS: I have found that on some sites, all the links that come up in the ripper tool only lead to sales pages for either the front end product and all the OTOs or JV pages but no downloads. This means the download links are housed on another site (such as Amazon S3 or another separate site the webmaster has) or through a third-party partner or payment processor. Sometimes you can right-click on an image on the site and see where the image is hosted. If that is a different website name, you can repeat the hunt in the WP ripper using that site name. POTENTIAL LEGAL ISSUE: I suggest you use a VPN or employ the free Windscribe virtual privacy network service when you're hunting for download links on the backside of someone's website. There is no telling if your computer's IP address will be captured and if the site owner wants to track unusual activity, your IP address will identify your computer and may even show when and how often you visited. In a court of law, that could be evidence that someone using your computer hacked into their back-end to gain unlawful access to their assets. Now, I'm no attorney so take this with a grain of salt but I thought it may be worth mentioning. Maybe someone here with computer knowledge and legal expertise can set me straight. I always right-click the link and choose Open in a New Tab to visit the download page. This way, my WP/S3 ripper window stays open for easier access. I click the "X" to close the browser window on the download page when I am done. So, for anyone who need it ... that's how I use this nifty little tool to find downloads! Layna61524  |
