ABOUT THE SHARE:

What I have for you today is a bundle of books by Bob Bly (try saying that fast 3 times!)

These are direct downloads from the e-book site libgen.io.

Some of these are classics so the copyright will be 2002-2009 but copywriting is fairly evergreen in that people's basic wants, needs and reaction to persuasive writing has not changed much over the decades.

The books are in PDF and e-pub formats. Please use a conversion tool to get the format you need. For example, if I find a good book but don't like the native format, I use e-Pubor Ultimate Pro, a wonder (and inexpensive) desktop program that is a one-off payment of around $40. It quickly and easily strips Digital Rights Management (DRM) from Kindle format and other such books and gives me the option to make them into PDF, e-pub or other formats. I can routinely download e-books now from Archive.org that used to sit in my Adobe Digital desktop program but since I couldn't print them or share them, that was a drag. Now, my e-Pubor Ultimate Pro me from printing or sharing. So my e-Pubor Ultimate Pro takes these files and renders them into PDFs I can read on the computer, print out or upload to share.

Of course, you may be using something altogether different and prefer that.

Even if you don't have a go-to application, you can use a good online conversion tool to make an e-pub a PDF ... or a PDF into a mobi. Or whatever.

One I like to use is zamzar; it asks you to select a file from your computer; decide what format you want to change it to; and then provide an email address where your converted file will be delivered.

You get the conversion in your email ... in mere seconds.

But some people may find it tedious to use this process over and over again.

In that case, just Google "e-book conversion tool" ... there are many you can play around with and see which one(s) you prefer.

But I digress --- here's where you can download any or all of the Bob Bly books I found.

And when you have time, swing over to libgen.io ... you'll find a lot of good e-books there.

@romanesque: Hi, and thanks for posting. If you ever want an answer from me, it's wise to send me a PM. Like I've said before, I don't always re-visit threads I started so there's the chance I could never have seen this.

Firstly, I went to one of my go-to ebook sources and typed in the author's name as you show it. Nothing. So I went to Amazon since you cited that as the source. Again, using the name exactly as you show, I get nothing.

Are these foreign-language books? Is there some reason nothing is coming up, such as you (maybe) have the name misspelled?

Please, send me a PM with the author's name corrected (if it's misspelled) or some of his titles I can use in a search and I will see if I can help.

You won't find any and all books freely available in a search and some books may be older (earlier copyrights) than something more recently published.

So, get back to me with more details (and please check the spelling of the author's name because I'm getting nowhere with the name as you show it; in Amazon, at least).

@romanesque: Thanks for the PM and for the correction in his name. Your post had me looking for "Pedro" ... not "Pierre" Calvete.

I sent you a very detailed reply based on what I found at both of the two primary e-book sites I use as well as by doing a quick Google search. Please read that PM and let me know if you have further questions.

I strongly recommend you do the very last thing I suggested, however, because you can get exactly the books you want without any out-of-pocket expense or by risking your computer to nefarious downloads.
