5-Book Series Photoshop Action Script

There's a big benefit in publishing a SERIES of books.

Sure, it's more work --- that's the downside. But if you pick the right niche (nonfiction) or your fiction book is intriguing with one or more characters that can sustain a series, you could count on bigger and longer-lasting pay-days when you write, publish and market a good book series.

But I digress...

The purpose of my share today is to give you a Photoshop action script where you can design the covers for your book series. The images show paperback books in the popular 6" x 9" format.

Also, the numbers recommend how to position your book series with the first book being placed at spot #1.

I remember reading this slogan on some writer's website:

"You can't TELL but you can SELL a book by its cover!"

Keep that in mind as you design YOUR book covers. Amateurish and ugly covers don't put you in a good light. If you need design inspiration, use a best-selling author's cover design as a basis for creating your own.

You are not confined in any way when designing your covers. You can decide to stick with certain elements on the pre-existing design or replace everything and start from scratch.

The share contains 2 files: the .atn Photoshop Action Script you install in Photoshop. This executes the actions to take your flat design to 3-D format. The .psd file is the one you open in Photoshop. Then you use that (name it something different first) to actually design your book covers by replacing the text, changing colors and removing what's there and adding your own images, etc.
