AWEBER Single Opt-In ?
Hello folks,

So here's the thing: I got my aweber account and an opt-in form on my site,
there's a lot of sign-ups going on, however each time they subscribe to my list they have to confirm their email (So it's set on double opt-in and not alot of ppl are confirming). I tried to turn this off from within AWeber, and I can't even find the off button.

What to do ? Should I contact AWeber and tell them to turn off double opt-in.
Keep in mind. The niche of the list is trading related.

Thanks in advance.

RE: AWEBER Single Opt-In ?
Had similar issues, contacted support here is what they sent me .......

"Hello,

Thank you for contacting AWeber support.

Before we can allow you to disable the confirmation message, we need to see further usage of the account, first. Once we see that you have been using the account and have stats to track, we can look into disabling the confirmation message for you. If you are interested in disabling this sooner, please feel free to reply to this email with your username, at which point I will be able to forward it over directly to our Best Practices department, as they would have the most information for you.

If you have any other questions, or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to ask. We're happy to help!

Regards,

RE: AWEBER Single Opt-In ?
Those cunts from aweber have stopped allowing single opt in. Had a long discussion with them and they kept replying saying i need to build my reputation with them. This after repeatedly explaining that i am at the point where i am still collecting e mails using a paid AD platform.

Chuck those cunts and move to Getresponse. They allow single opt ins
