[ASK]Newbie trying to get a good grip on offline opportunities
Hello,

I am totally new to internet marketing and making money online.
So far i have identified offline opportunities (helping offline businesses get online) as a good way for me to earn some income but I am suffering from information overload ...

What is the best course to learn about setting up an offline business?
How do i deal with the fact that i will not have any portfolio at first?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

RE:
Well let's start at the end first. You need a portfolio because nobody is going to trust that you can do what you say you can help them with if you have nothing to show. Just do stuff for free for people or barter for something that you need and don't be shy about saying you need to build your portfolio up and will go the extra mile for your first clients to make them your 'showpiece' client.

As for setting up for offline what you need is a phone and an email account. Without those tools, you will have all the knowledge and the world and no customers to help out. I guess what i'm trying to say is that you need to focus as much on sales and salesmanship as you do the coding and photoshopping.
